Great place for tire mounting and balancing

I have been taking my cars to Capitol for over 25 years. I can drive in with a car that I think is dying and walk out with a $50 repair. In other words, they are honest and don't take advantage of mechanically-disadvantaged! Their work is first rate. I totally trust them.

My wife left work to a flat tire. She called Capitol Tire, and they came out to help her get to the shop. They didn't try to up-sell some expensive tires for a vehicle that has over 170000 miles. They gave us 3 used tires essentially for the price of one new one, and they were able to fit her in within an hour. Fantastic service!

These guys are amazing! I'm from out of town and was in the area for work. Before heading to Madison, I had to get an oil change and tire rotation. The guys I saw at that time said that whoever put my tires on last time didn't do it correctly and the lug nuts were really worned out. Because I needed to get down here to work, I asked about the safety and decided to drive the 2.5 hours anyway and will find a place to get it fix while I'm in the area. They normally take in appointments here and because of my situation, they took me in and got to work on my car right away. The staff is extremely helpful and nice! I cannot even begin to express how much I appreciate their help! They also have reasonable prices for the quality work they do! I definitely recommend this place because they provide the best and most honest customer service to me personally.

I went to Capitol Tire to have a flat tire repaired. They graciously let me drop it off about 10 minutes before their closing time. They called the next day and told me it was ready. I set up a time to come and have it replaced. The woman I spoke with was very nice and genuinely cared about accommodating my scheduling needs despite being busy. When I came in that day it only took about 10-15 minutes, in and out. The best part was that I got to hang out with the sweet black labrador while I waited! (I think the world would be a happier place if every business had a dog in the waiting area.) All in all the tire repair and replacement cost me less than $25, which I thought was a great deal. The whole process was quick and painless. I would definitely recommend Capitol Tire.
