Had new tires put on recently. They also managed to squeeze in an oil change, in and out the door in 45 minutes. Couldn't recommend them enough! Honest and friendly, excellent place!

I have taken all of my cars to Capitol Tire for the past 10 years. They are fair, honest, and don't just follow factory-issued maintenance schedules like dealerships do. The guys at Capitol do the work only if it actually needs to be done, and they do it very well.

I have gone here for about a year now for general car maintenance and some other car issues. The service is always great. There is no better place to go in Madison. They always give you every last detail and any information you may need about your vehicle.

These guys are amazing! I'm from out of town and was in the area for work. Before heading to Madison, I had to get an oil change and tire rotation. The guys I saw at that time said that whoever put my tires on last time didn't do it correctly and the lug nuts were really worned out. Because I needed to get down here to work, I asked about the safety and decided to drive the 2.5 hours anyway and will find a place to get it fix while I'm in the area. They normally take in appointments here and because of my situation, they took me in and got to work on my car right away. The staff is extremely helpful and nice! I cannot even begin to express how much I appreciate their help! They also have reasonable prices for the quality work they do! I definitely recommend this place because they provide the best and most honest customer service to me personally.

I was getting serviced for a recall at Smart Toyota when they mentioned it was time for new breaks. Knowing the dealership was going to overcharge me, I was on the hunt for a shop that could see me on short notice. I was referred to Capital Tire by a family friend and could not have been happier with the result. They were able to squeeze me in the morning I called, provided a reasonable quote and great service. As part of my quote, they mentioned I qualified for a $50 NAPA rebate and even offered to complete the paperwork for me. I was soon contacted by NAPA, stating the brake pads didn't qualify due to a technicality. I called Capital Tire to follow up and they were already reaching out to their sales rep to get to the bottom of it. About a week later, I received a letter in the mail from Kari with a $50 visa gift card enclosed to compensate for the rebate I expected from NAPA. Now that's great customer service! Will definitely return and recommend them to friends and family.

Needed tired replace and change and dispose all done on my schedule and for the right price. Best of all, every staff acknowledged me and was pleasant. Comfy waiting area, too. Will be back!!!

We had our van towed in because it wouldn't start. At the shop, the van started right up for the guys, and instead of fixing something just to charge us for some work, they gave things a look, wrote up a summary of other things we might want to have looked at, and explained everything they did clearly. And, oh yeah, they didn't charge us for the time. Great people that you can trust - that's Capital Tire!

Reliable service and honest assessments

Staff were very fast, nice and helpful. I had to drop off some tires, and while some places make me unload them myself, the staff here practically jumped to help me.

Once again, I found Capitol Tire to be fast and friendly. I couldn't ask for a better service experience.
