New Manager here...Matt is great! He helped to get new tires on my kayak trailer...just in-time for vacation!

I brought own tires to be installed and had a full inspection done. They loaned me a car, called me numerous times to give me updates, and were very friendly the entire time. Everything was hassle free and easy! I was given advice on repairs but was not sold to buy anything. In fact I was told that some repairs like my slightly bent real axle wouldn't be worth the $200 if I rotate my tires regularly. It's hard to find honest people like this! This was my first positive mechanic experience in Madison and I'm very pleased with it. I'll definitely be coming back here and recommending these dudes in the future!

This is the only place where I take my vehicles for service. Sean and Tom are simply the best. They diagnose and address issues accurately the first time. They don't pad services to increase cost. I value their opinion and service. Each time I plan a family vacation, I always drop the vehicle off at Capitol Tire to ensure my car won't become an issue to distract from my trip.

My family has been going to Sean and his crew for more than 25 years. They are honest, friendly, offer fair prices, and have expert staff. I've never had a bad experience here. More than anything, and something I feel you cannot put a price on, I TRUST them explicitly. For me, that's #1 when dealing with a mechanic. Not once have I felt I paid for something that did not need to be fixed. When that's the case, they will tell you. When you can wait some time for the repair, they will tell you. I've cross-checked one repair at the local dealer since the Cap Tire guys thought the factory might cover me. I can say with fact that there is night and day difference between the results the dealer got vs the TRUTH I get from the cap tire guys; Like my car had a class action lawsuit due to this issue. Why did the dealer not also tell me this? Of course, to pay out of pocket for a bandaid fix. I can't speak highly enough for Sean, Bert, Tom, Caleb, and the other guys there. I highly recommend them, and I will be taking my car, truck, and even my boat there for another 25+ years. Yes, they helped me with my trailer tires and brakes and did a much better job than the local marina would have at a much better price.
